Spirituality & Christian Counseling

Therapy that makes room for your faith, on your terms

For many clients, faith is part of how they understand pain, meaning, and healing. Christian counseling is available on request, alongside — not instead of — sound clinical care.

Faith-integrated counseling means your spiritual beliefs and questions are welcome in the room, rather than set aside. That might mean incorporating prayer, scripture, or a faith-informed understanding of identity and relationships into the work — as much or as little as feels right to you.

This is offered on request, not assumed. Clients who prefer therapy without a faith component receive the same evidence-based care without it.

What this can look like

  • Wanting therapy that doesn't ask you to set your faith aside
  • Wrestling with a spiritual question alongside a personal struggle
  • Grief, doubt, or a season of feeling distant from your faith
  • Navigating a church community or relationship through a faith lens
  • Wanting values-aligned support during a major decision
  • Simply wanting your counselor to understand where you're coming from

How therapy can help

  • Faith can be integrated into any of the practice's core approaches, including ACT and CBT, when that's helpful to you.
  • Sessions can include prayer or scripture if you'd like, or focus purely on clinical work — the choice is yours and can change from week to week.
  • This approach is also available for couples and family sessions where shared faith is part of the relationship.

Every plan is built around you — modalities are chosen and adjusted together as therapy progresses, not applied as a fixed formula.
