A space to grieve at your own pace
The death of someone close to you, the end of a relationship, the loss of a pet, or a loss that's harder to name — grief doesn't follow a schedule, and it doesn't always look the way people expect.
There's no correct timeline for grief, and no single "right" way to feel it. Some days it's sharp; other days it's just underneath everything else. Therapy offers steady support for however it's showing up for you right now.
This includes grief that doesn't always get acknowledged by others — ambiguous loss, estrangement, infertility, or the loss of a future you had pictured.
What this can look like
- Waves of grief that come without warning, long after the loss
- Guilt about how you're grieving, or about moving forward
- Numbness or difficulty feeling anything at all
- Anger that surprises you
- Loss that others don't fully recognize or acknowledge
- Anxiety about losing someone or something else
How therapy can help
- EMDR can help when specific memories — like the moment of loss — feel stuck or intrusive.
- Somatic therapy supports the physical exhaustion and tension that grief often carries.
- IFS makes room for the different, sometimes conflicting feelings grief brings up, without needing to resolve them quickly.
Every plan is built around you — modalities are chosen and adjusted together as therapy progresses, not applied as a fixed formula.
Approaches used
